Welcome to Alfheim, the Forest of Light, a realm of endless sunshine where the Ljosalfar (light elves) have walked the wooded paths for long ages.

This is a small but well-protected realm of refuge, solace, and hope. Some say the Light Elves are too detached from the other realms, too willing to go along with whatever the Aesir command. But to others, there is no finer place and no finer people. The elves spend most of their time in contemplation and their land is always welcome to philosophers, scholars, poets, and practitioners of the old magic.

This asset pack is for creators looking to work in the fantasy genre but with the aesthetic of Norse mythology (vikings!) as a primary influence.

The pack includes a diverse set of elven character sprites with 4-directional, 3-frame walking cycles ready for your game project. The pack is top-down perspective and scaled at 16x16 by default. This pack can be used in just about any game engine, though creators may need to make modifications to the size and orientation of sheets.

The pack mixes together the warm colors and slightly bleak vibes of the comfy52 palette by bess.

What Does It Include?

This pack includes 18 Total Character Sprites w/basic,  3-Frame Walk Cycles in four directions. 

Includes:

• 8x "villager" NPCs
• 2x "warrior" NPCs
• 2x "scholar" NPCs
• 2x "mystic" NPCs
• 2x "scout" NPCs
• 2x "merchant" NPCs

These sprites are meant to create a diverse population for an elven city or town in a JRPG, with a variety of roles covered.

Will There be Updates?

I may add a few more NPCs to this pack over time, especially any that don't fit into another theme idea. Other than that, it'll likely be the usual bug fixes and updates if I change things about how I design this type of sprite. Whenever I upgrade a sprite design, I will try to add additional "bonus" sprites to packs like this one.

Can I Make Requests?

Yes! If you would like a unique character sprite(s) done in this style for your personal project, please contact me using the below information. I will do these for pretty cheap and to your specifications, so please inquire!
